Neutron Scattering Science Call for Proposals

Proposals for beam time at Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR) and Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) will be accepted via the web-based proposal system until 12:00 (NOON) EASTERN TIME, Wednesday, September 11, 2013.  This call is for experiments anticipated to run from January through June 2014.

NSF / ONR Workshop on Key Scientific and Technological Issues for Development of Next-Generation Organic Solar Cells

The objective of this workshop is to discuss critical issues involved in materials synthesis, device physics and fabrication, and theoretical modeling in organic solar cells. This workshop will be a two-day event from September 20 to 21, 2012 at the Hilton Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. The workshop program will include keynote and invited presentations together with three parallel breakout discussions focusing on materials synthesis, device physics and modeling, and device manufacture and stability.

2013 NNI Stakeholder Workshop

Scope: The 2013 NNI Stakeholder Workshop will obtain input outside the U.S. Government on the future directions of the NNI. The recommendations of this one-and-a-half day workshop will inform the development of the 2013 NNI Strategic Plan.
