The Energy and Climate Challenge: Necessity as the Mother of Invention

As part of Uva's partnership with Oak Rdige National Laboratory (ORNL), we are pleased to announce a live webcast of a lecture by Nobel Prize Winner Dr. Steven Chu, Professor, Stanford University, and former US Secretary of Energy. ORNL will be hosting Dr. Chu as part of the lab's Eugene P. Wigner Distinguished Lecutre Series in Sciences, Technology, and Policy, and will be streaming his lecutre. Special thanks to ORNL for the invitation to participate in the Wigner Lecture webcasts.

The title of Dr. Chu's talk is "The Energy and Climate Challenge: Necessity as the Mother of Invention."

Questions may be submitted to ORNL's Twitter or Facebook sites using the hashtag #wigner-lectures. The lecture is one hour and selected questions will be addressed during a moderated discussin period, which may last until noon.
