University Outreach Engagement Live Webinar

November 12, 2013

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is the U.S. Department of Defense’s official Combat Support Agency for countering weapons of mass destruction. DTRA Chemical and Biological Technologies Department (J9-CB) is actively working to protect civilians, American warfighters and their allies from threats posed by chemical and biological weapons. The agency leadership recognizes that important research development trends and emerging technology occur outside the defense environment, advances that can significantly contribute to DTRAs mission and objectives. Therefore, DTRA CB university outreach engagement webinars are committed three fold:

  1. Invest, Inspire, and Empower the Future Scientists with Knowledge of Opportunities: DTRA Engagement with Students (Duration: 1 hour)
  2. Cultivate DTRA Awareness and Business Opportunities: University Leadership and Faculty Members (Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes)
  3. Align Current Research to DTRA’s Portfolio with Technical Exchange:
University Leadership and Principal Investigators (~30 minutes)
